LOUNGE BAR :
The Lounge Bar is excellent if you are looking for a relaxing place to have a drink, be it with business colleagues or friends , this will often work out to be a pleasant and often a productive time.
There is always a well stocked bar which includes the latest bottled beers as well as Fine Ales. Being a member you will be entitled to the members prices. The trained Bar staff are there to help you aswell and with the comfortable lounge(which includes a piano) with ample seating, puts the pub scene very much into second place.
BANQUETING SUITE :
You couldn't choose better. Whatever you have in mind , an Anniversary Party, Wedding Reception or Birthday Celebration(this includes 18th's and 21st's), we will plan something that is truly memorable.
The Cassiobury Suite as it is known, can cater for up to 200 people, and with Superb Catering and every facility you could possibly need which also includes a fully licensed par with fully trained staff, you will find that nothing is too much trouble, and on the big day, you will find us nothing but helpful, ensuring that everything goes smoothly from start to finish. We also have a PA System that could also be used if you wanted to hold a Quiz Night or something like that.
FUNCTION ROOMS :
At the Town and Country Club we have 3 rooms that can be hired. We have found these to be the perfect venue for a business meeting. More and more companies are discovering that our central location and facilities are ideal for training, product launches and seminars.
We can offer you the choice of 2 meeting rooms, the 200 seat banqueting suite or the board room, with all the facilities and hospitality you need from a sandwich to a full scale dinner, or even a business breakfast. We also have Audio Visual Equipment for hire - we can arrange everything, and our discretion is assured.
SPORT & LEISURE :
If snooker and Billiards are your interest, then the Watford Town & Country Club is the place for you. These are superb facilities, with 4 full size tables and an environment that's as perfect for serious match play as it is a quiet relaxing game. Not surprisingly, some of Watford best players are to be found here.
If snooker is not your game then we also have a Darts board for use and also every Thursday is the popular Bridge Night, while on a Monday we have Line Dancing and also Chess on a Tuesday. If you are a supporter of either Watford FC or Saracens RFC then this is an ideal place for that pre - match drink or the after match discussion drink and feel free to bring your fellow supporters.
THE RESTAURANT :
The restaurant is very popular on Weekday lunchtimes and is open to non-members, as well as on Sunday's. With a superb menu, good wines and attentive service, not to mention the special atmosphere, it is hardly surprising that this is popular so why not join us. ANYTHING ELSE :
One thing I have not mentioned is the Garden area. This is a very spacious area and in the summer with all the patio furniture looks very attractive and ideal when we hold the club barbecues.
