'Waverley Models' is a scale-model boat building business run by myself, Mike Mayhew, from Clevedon, near Bristol, UK.

The name 'Waverley Models' is taken from the name of the 13 foot long model of the Paddle-Steamer Waverley which I built.

I specialise in creating everything by hand, including figures and boat details, to reflect the highest authenticity in my work, which you can see by exploring this web-site.

My catalogue of hundreds of fittings and GRP hulls is available at £5-00, including postage, from "Waverley Models", 20B Moor Lane, Clevedon, Somerset, BS21 6ES.

I design, restore and sell fine model boats and also take commissions, such as Museum restoration work and make new models, eg. the Lang Boomer of 1870 for the Shetland Isles Museum. as well as making and selling such items as crew figures, cannon, boat equipment and other custom made details, mostly using resin-casting methods.
