Eve’s lanterns was inspired by the
orange Chinese Lanterns which grew in Eve’s garden. The skeletons left
when the luminous colour had gone were fragile and vulnerable. The piece which evolved combined a painted stick framework with layers of chiffon. It was stitched with copper threads and burnt away to leave a fragile memory of what had been. Click on a picture to view more closely... |
