FIRST CLUB MEETING OF
2008

The
1st meeting of 2008 was held on the 20th January at the Lamb
Nomansland in the By
1200 most members had arrived but, because of the threat of rain they had
come in modern cars. |

We
were therefore surprised when two members arrived in their 1947 Standard Eight Tourer, with the hood
down!!!! However
the hood soon went up while we had a very nice Sunday Roast followed by a
short meeting to discuss future events etc.Then it was inspection time. |

Members
gathered round the delightful and well cared for Standard and investigated it . We
now have six eights in our group, four tourers, one coupe, and one saloon. Also
