STONE COTTAGE BACK ELEVATION

  1.  TOP LEFT version 0-2, no back stamp, one beam above upstairs back window, please note the very pale colour and different tile shape, I would suggest that this cottage is a grey dip, 416 grams.

  2. TOP RIGHT version 1-1, single line back stamp, on right hand side, just left of the French doors, please note the very pale colour and different tile shape. I would suggest that this cottage is a grey dip, 547 grams.

  3.  MIDDLE LEFT version 1-2, single line back stamp, on the back below the white door on the right hand edge, two beams above upstairs back window, 478 grams.

  4. MIDDLE CENTRE version 1982-1, 1982 back stamp, please note the significant colour,486 grams.

  5. MIDDLE RIGHT version 1982-1, 1982 back stamp, please note the significant colour, almost certainly due to a different initial dip, you will notice that the base is significantly thinner, as a result of the linishing process, which has taken away over half of the back stamp, with only Lilliput Lane Ltd remaining. Whilst many would regards this as a previously un-recorded variety, it is not, but merits showing on the web site due entirely to its colour, which I suggest is due to grey dip. It was in fact sold in error as a no back stamp version. 446 grams.

  6.  BOTTOM LEFT version 1984-1, 1984 back stamp, please note colour variation and short chimney pots, 774 grams.

  7.  BOTTOM RIGHT version 1984-1, 1984 back stamp, tall chimney pots, 802 grams.

Whilst these variations are generally shown by the number of beams, or the back stamp, it should be noted that there is a remarkable difference in the style and shape of the tiles.
