I'm a doctor living and working in Cardiff. When I'm not working I'm into all sorts of stuff including Roleplaying, Paintballing, and Programming.
Here's some of the software I've written:
- I've written a version of Sokoban in Java that's only 30K in size and yet has almost 200 levels.
- My latest project is converting the Spectrum version of Laser Squad to run under Java. You may have Come across Laser Squad Nemesis which is a recent re-vamped version. This was the origional (there were also Commodore 64, Amstrad, and Commadore Amiga versions).
- Rebel Star is considered one of the best ever games written for the Spectrum computer. I started converting it to run under Java so that others can enjoy it. The project languished for a time, but I have now completed the basic game.
- I've written a program that allows me to create all sorts of vehicles for the BattleTech game, store them and print out game record sheets. It's called MechEdit and although I still haven't done everything I want to, it works very well.
- My mother has a website dedicated to trees. I wrote a message board for it. If you have an interest in trees it's well worth a look.
I'm a great BattleTech fan, click here to find out what it's all about, and see various links.
