Follow signs to Shrawley until you come to a pub called the Rose & Crown as the road bends into Shrawley (NOT the New Inn). Park at the rear of the pub.

10.30 am Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, VC 37, Landranger 139, grid reference SP 036814. Park in the car park, or overflow car parking as indicated, and meet outside the main entrance to the Centre. If approaching from the south, pass the entrance to Woodbrooke on the other side of the dual carriageway, and turn (signposted to WQSC) 400 yards further up the hill. We can have lunch at Woodbrooke for a modest charge. The food is very good there! Please let Alan know if you want lunch, so that he can make the booking.

If you wish to attend a foray, please email David Antrobus a few days beforehand. This will ensure that you do not arrive at a foray that has been cancelled or moved to a different location.
Beginners and people with a general interest are most welcome but would experienced mycologists, after a foray, please check 'A Fungus Flora of Warwickshire' and the additions to the Flora to confirm that any of the less-common species that you have collected have already been recorded for the County. If they have not, PLEASE KEEP DRIED MATERIAL for the herbarium.
Please send lists of species that you have found on the forays in Warwickshire to Mr A.W. Brand, 14 Bishopton Lane, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9JN or David Antrobus. Where possible, please state the habitat and associated trees and plants for each record.
If you find an interesting fruiting of fungi, and think that others would be interested, please contact John Williams. It may be possible to arrange a foray at short notice.
Permission has been obtained from landowners to collect for scientific purposes. In the interests of conservation, please do not collect more specimens than necessary for your personal use. We do not encourage collection for culinary purposes on our forays. The Warwickshire Fungus Survey is affiliated to the British Mycological Society.
Unless otherwise stated, forays begin at 10.30 am.
