The Group meets irregularly, but is open to anyone living in the Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield areas. We keep in touch through a newsletter sent to members. We arrange talks and visits to organic farms, gardens and allotments. Our biggest success recently has been our annual organic vegetable show each autumn. For several years up to 1998 it was held at Cleckheaton Town Hall. For the tenth one, in 1999, we moved to the Carlisle Business Centre in Bradford, and from then on to Shipley College. Jim Juby making the presentation to one of the cup winners. He was the judge for the main vegetable section of the 1998 show. He is Vegetable Products Manager of organic seed suppliers DT Brown.

One of our members, Terry Marshall, is a leading expert on growing tomatoes. He has recently published a book to help the rest of us.
