Operation Kennington – Police name youths who died in fatal collision at Fleet

Police are now in a position to name the two youths who died in a single vehicle fatal collision at Fleet on Friday, March 16.

18-year-old John Bryant from Hook and 15-year-old Callum Forbes from Odiham sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.

At approximately 2.50pm, a blue Peugeot 306 was in collision with a tree outside Calthorpe Park School on Hitches Lane at Fleet. John and Callum were passengers in the car and both were pronounced dead at the scene. The three other occupants of the car, a 19-year-old, an 18-year old and a 15-year-old, all teenage men from the local area, were taken to Frimley Park Hospital.

The 15-year-old youth had slight injuries and was released on Friday night

The 19-year-old man was kept in for observations overnight and was released on Saturday.

The 18-year-old youth received serious chest injuries and remains in Frimley Park Hospital. The road was closed for approximately five and a half hours and re-opened at 8.35pm.
