Police
are now in a position to name the rider of a Honda
motorcycle who was involved in a collision with a Rover
car at Ennerdale Road, near the ‘One Stop’ store in
Bordon at about 9am Saturday, May 5.
John
Barber, 31, of Larmer Close, Fleet, was critically hurt
in the crash along with the car driver. Both were
taken under police escort to the Royal Surrey Hospital,
Guildford, where Mr. Barber tragically died from his
injuries later on Saturday afternoon.
Mr.
Barber worked in Andover and lived in Fleet. In a
family statement his parents said:
“John
is irreplaceable. He was a much loved son and brother.
We are all totally devastated by his loss.”
