Police in Yateley are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Eversley on Monday, May 21.

Sometime between 8am and 3.30pm, a property in Eversley Centre, near to the village hall, was entered via the rear door and jewellery and electrical items were stolen.

A purple car was seen driving up and down the road on the day of the burglary and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious.

PC Dave McDonald, from Yateley police station, said: “This is a rare occurrence and is only the second burglary in the area this year.

“The B3272 Reading Road through Eversley is a busy road used by a large number of vehicles each day. Did you see any vehicles parked at the side of the road, or anyone in the area acting suspiciously?

“Did you see anyone carrying electrical items, and in particular a television, along the road on Monday, May 21?   Anyone with any information should contact police so we can catch those responsible for this crime.”   Anyone with any information should contact PC McDonald at Yateley police station on 0845 045 45 45
