Sometime between
8am and 3.30pm, a property in Eversley Centre, near to
the village hall, was entered via the rear door and
jewellery and electrical items were stolen.
A purple car was
seen driving up and down the road on the day of the
burglary and police are keen to hear from anyone who may
have seen anything suspicious.
PC Dave McDonald,
from Yateley police station, said: “This is a rare
occurrence and is only the second burglary in the area
this year.
“The B3272
Reading Road through Eversley is a busy road used by a
large number of vehicles each day. Did you see any
vehicles parked at the side of the road, or anyone in
the area acting suspiciously?
“Did you see
anyone carrying electrical items, and in particular a
television, along the road on Monday, May 21?
Anyone with any
information should contact police so we can catch those
responsible for this crime.” Anyone with any
information should contact PC McDonald at Yateley police
station on 0845 045 45 45
